OLIVIA

Turning around once Beal and Lilith were gone Olivia noted that Luke had changed back to his usual self. She had to admit she was a little disappointed, because she had wanted to feel his wings to see if they were as soft as they looked. As soon as that thought entered her head, his wings opened up behind him.

Olivia reached out to stroke the feathers on one of his wings, to find that they felt as soft as silk. His feathers ruffled beneath her fingertips, and she smiled as Luke closed his eyes and moaned softly. In this moment Olivia could almost forget all the crazy things that had happened.

Before Olivia could touch his other wing something inside her moved. Her hands flew to her stomach, and she almost passed out from shock when she felt it was slightly rounded.

Luke ignored her panicked look and placed his hand at the side of hers, just as she felt more movement. He looked like he was going to burst with pride and excitement, which was completely the opposite of how Olivia was currently feeling.

“Luke, I think it’s time you told me how fast a pregnancy with a Demon progresses!” Olivia wanted to scream. How the fuck was she going to explain this to her family? Not to mention the fact that most women had months to prepare for birth. It was beginning to look like Olivia was going to have days, maybe weeks at most if she was lucky.

“Kitten, it’s going to be okay I promise. I already told you that they progress quicker. However, given who I am and that you’re a Nephilim, I get the feeling it may progress quicker than regular Demons.”

“OH, GEE, DO YOU THINK?” Olivia shouted in frustration. Luke just seemed to find this all very amusing. “This will never happen again. I know you have this crazy future planned out in your insane stalker mind, but you get this one child and that’s it!” Luke’s face paled and Olivia had to fight the urge to laugh as her frustration slipped away.

“Seriously though, what are we going to do? We have your crazy brother who’s gone AWOL and had a powerful Witch working with him. I have just found out my biological dad is an Angel. I’m pregnant, and the pregnancy is moving so fast it’s like one day is the equivalent to two months. My family are going to have something to say about that. What am I supposed to tell them? I can’t just avoid them then show up with a baby. Also, how fast is the baby going to stay a baby? Do Demon babies grow faster?” Now she was panicking and her mind was running wild with questions.

“Shh, sweetheart, my brothers are looking for Asmodeus, so please don’t worry about that. We will go to see Samyaza and maybe he will have answers for us with regards to your powers. There are ways around dealing with what your family will see with regards to your pregnancy.
